Nicholi at Barcelona Extreme Sports Festival

Another amazing trip to Europe. I was invited to the Barcelona Extreme Sports Festival. Mike Saavedra and I were the only invited riders from the US. The rest of the guys were all from Europe. Barcelona is such a great city for BMX. I went to 360BS Bike Shop and they even had a map that marked all of the best street spots. So if you ever go to Barcelona, make sure you stop at the 360BS and see Pierre – the man behind the scene. The Barcelona Extreme is the main extreme sports event in Spain – BMX, FMX, Skateboarding, Wakeboarding, and even though it was Ninety Degrees Outside, Snowboarding and Skiing. All finals were airing on Live TV. The contest atmosphere was great between the riders and the fans. Everyone was riding great, having a good time and supporting each other, while the fans were cheering for all the riders. The contest was just amazing.

Too bad I didn’t have time to ride much street, but when I did, it was really fun.

I received an official invitation for next year already, so can’t wait to go to Barcelona again.

You can check out some footage from the contest on FAT BMX: http://www.fatbmx.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=7671

Dude, I think it is funny when people talk to you like a little kid. You probably dont like it but i wouldnt know. You do rock though. I want to know what you think before you do something and if you could stop riding so good, it makes me feel like I suck, jk, keep improving, its inspiring.
