Christmas Card From Diogo

Hey there,

Despite the fact that I neglected to wish you a Merry Christmas, I do hope you had one. I selfishly opted to spend time with my family (and away from computers or anything resembling one) during Christmas in order to string together some merry days for myself.

Diogo on the other hand was not selfish at all. In fact, he sent out an electronic Christmas card of sorts on Christmas Eve that was waiting for me in my inbox upon my return to the office. It put such a smile on my face that I wanted to share it with all of you. I don’t think Diogo will care. Diogo?

The greeting made me smile for a number of reasons. For one, it was just further proof that Diogo is just a great guy and is very thoughtful. It also made me smile (as it was meant to) because of the image he chose to put the thing together.

The shot is of Diogo and his Brazilian-made Martes bike and is one that was obviously taken during another time. The smile, black T-shirt and hairdo are all things that we’ve come to expect from Diogo and that we still appreciate today. But look at that bike! That thing makes mine look trendy! But kids, before you’re tempted to clown Diogo or his setup at the time; keep in mind that you don’t get to be as good as Diogo is without having some years and some trends behind you. Diogo rides a bike now that is nicer than yours. You can build one up just like it though by starting with one of these.
